The Huntsville Parks & Recreation department is teaming up with Christmas Charities Year Round for the Cozy Care Holiday Drive, running until Dec. 8. The initiative aims to provide coats and gloves to those in need during the chilly seasons.
Donations of clean and wearable coats, hats, and gloves can be placed in designated boxes located in the lobby of Huntsville recreation centers. All sizes are welcome.
"We're looking forward to supporting this project for a second year," said James Gossett, Director of Huntsville Parks & Recreation. "This is a great opportunity for community members to get involved and give back."
Donors are asked to refrain from leaving items at the door or other locations at recreation centers.
