MORRISVILLE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)—Two days after a shooting and a campus-wide shelter-in-place order at SUNY Morrisville, students are sharing a video they say shows how unprepared they felt in the moment. The video, taken inside the dining hall, shows students hiding under tables, running for exits, and yelling for others to get down.

One student, who wished to remain anonymous, said that no one knew what to do because there was little communication from the school, adding that they had never practiced a lockdown or active shooter drill on campus.

NewsChannel 9 has reached out to SUNY Morrisville to ask whether students and staff received active shooter or lockdown training. As of Wednesday, the college has not responded. The school details what a shelter-in-place entails on its website.
