CHEYENNE -- The American Lung Association in Wyoming released the 2025 “State of Lung Cancer” report on Nov. 5, which reveals that more needs to be done to end the burden of this devastating disease on families throughout the state.
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths here in Wyoming and across the U.S. The report finds that Wyoming ranks last in providing lung cancer screenings for those at high risk for the disease. Such screenings can, and do, save lives as early detection and treatment are crucial to improved chances of survival.
