BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Brockton Police Department is crediting one of their K-9 officers in tracking down evidence in a store robbery, eventually determining the possibility of an inside job in the incident.

According to a Facebook post from the Brockton Police Department, department K-9 Hawk tracked a suspect’s scent after an AT&T store robbery, recovering a duffel bag containing thousands of dollars in cash, electronics and a sawed-off shotgun.

Brockton police have made one arrest in the October 13 robbery of the Pleasant Street store, with Carlos DeBarros, 45, of Brockton facing multiple felony charges.

DeBarros allegedly entered the business with the sawed-off shotgun, restrained two employees and stole thousands of dollars in electronics and cash.
