PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After 25 years with the company, a woman is accusing Nike of discrimination.

In a lawsuit filed in federal court for the District of Oregon on Wednesday, a former Nike employee alleges the company discriminated against her on the basis of age and gender.

According to the suit, he woman began working for the company in 1998 as a store manager. She worked her way up over the years, and after nine promotions, she landed the job of senior director of stores.

But in 2021, when she began reporting to someone new, that began to change.
