BLUEWATER – A new centre that will offer access to recreation for seniors in Hensall is launching with a schedule filled with events.

The Senior Active Living Centre, which is based primarily at the Hensall arena, will offer activities, programs and workshops over the coming weeks for Bluewater’s senior residents.

Those with a competitive spirit can stop by the Hensall arena on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for games of euchre, crokinole, bridge, Dutch blitz and more, as well as grab a cup of coffee, for $3.

Meanwhile, yoga lovers will have several opportunities to get moving as well.

Yoga with Robert was set to begin Nov. 10, taking place Mondays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for six weeks at the Hensall arena, wrapping up Dec. 15. The cost for all six weeks is $60, or $14 for a sin
