SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - A Johns Island man is facing multiple charges in a gun sale that turned into an armed robbery and shooting in the Summerville area last month.
Josiah Kashawn Campbell, is charged with asasult and battery of a high and aggravated nature, armed robbery, possession of a firearm during a violent crime and conspiracy, according to court documents.
Investigators say Campbell and a second man went to the victim’s home for the sale of a firearm at approximately 6:11 p.m. on Oct. 21. Security footage shows the victim approaching the men’s car, affidavits state.
Police say the victim told the men he was paying $220 through CashApp and had $100 in cash to pay for a PSA Dagger handgun.
