KYLE, Texas — A 22-year-old was arrested Thursday in connection with a sexual assault investigation involving two juvenile victims, according to Kyle police.

Troy Samaro has been charged with two counts of sexual assault of a minor and two counts of trafficking of a minor after he allegedly contacted victims through social media and did not share his real age during the interactions.

According to an affidavit obtained by KVUE, a female juvenile told police that in one incident dating back to 2024, Samaro first contacted her on Instagram through a mutual friend. She said he told her he was 17, but she later learned he was 21 at the time.
