INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- State Troopers, along with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's "Click it or Ticket: campaign, will be hosting a free child safety seat check in Indiana County.

The event will allow parents and caregivers to have their car seats checked to make sure they are suitable for their children, as well as have guidance on installation within their vehicles and the proper way for children to be strapped in their car seats.

PSP Troopers who are certified as Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be offering guidance to attendees.

The Indiana County child safety seat check event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Indiana Fire Association West, located on Indian Springs Road in Indiana.
