UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WTAJ) -- The Penn State Board of Trustees has approved the university's strategic plan, setting a course for future growth and impact, officials announced Friday.
The strategic plan, developed under the leadership of Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi since 2023, aims to enhance Penn State's mission and influence both within the commonwealth and beyond. The plan focuses on five key areas: enhancing student success, advancing research, increasing land-grant impact, fostering diversity and inclusion, and transforming health care through academic and clinical synergy.
"Today's approval represents the culmination of that work. But more importantly, it also marks the beginning of the execution of a bold vision," Bendapudi said.
