The Newark Central Planning Board approved a proposal by NMA Owners Urban Renewal LLC – a partnership with the Newark Museum of Art and developers LMXD and MCI Collective – to subdivide the existing lot into two new lots on Monday night.
The property, located in the Broad Street Station Redevelopment Zone and James Street Commons Historic District, comprises 51-89 Central Ave.
NMA Owners Urban Renewal LLC will merge and subdivide the combined 65,530-square-foot lot into two separate lots, with one measuring 64,232 square feet and the other 1,298 square feet.
