LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Enjoy the mild end to the workweek as high temperatures continue to plummet for the second half of the weekend.
Highs climb into the low to upper 60s.
On Saturday, it will be cooler in the mid 40s to mid 50s. A cold front moving in will provide the drop in temperatures.
The coldest air of the season is on the way Sunday as highs only climb into the mid 30s to mid 40s.
Breezy conditions are also likely over the next few days as well with gusts up to 30-35 mph.
In addition to the front Saturday, a strong storm system will move in bringing chances for rain and perhaps a wintry mix if not snowflakes later in the evening. Minor accumulations are possible in northeastern Nebraska.
We do warm right back next week with more 60s and plenty of sunshine too.
