SOUTHERN TIER, N.Y. (WETM) — Smile Through The Storms, a local group supporting suicide survivors and those who have lost loved ones to suicide, is asking for your help to spread kindness for the holiday season.

From now through Monday, Dec. 15, the group is hosting its 8th toy drive to brighten the holidays for children in the pediatric units at Arnot Ogden Medical Center and Guthrie Health in Corning, Smile Through The Storms explained in a release. Donations will also be brought to the Catholic Charities homeless center. These donations are made in memory of the lives lost, Smile Through The Storms noted.

People are encouraged to donate new toys at the following locations: • Ma's Cheesy Dreams and Things, 228B Oakwood Ave in Elmira Heights • Carpe Diem Salon, 205 E 14th St in Elmi
