ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Three milestones in a $100 million modernization project at Albany International Airport have been completed. The airport now has a children's play area, a business center, and a multi-sensory room for travelers.

Funded partially through Governor Kathy Hochul's Upstate Airport Economic Development and Revitalization Competition, the finished work is part of a modernization effort that represents economic viability in the Capital Region. Hochul said on Thursday that the new spaces in the airport mark a transformative moment for the entire region.
