TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Beale Infrastructure announced plans to power its upcoming data center in Pima County with 100% renewable energy and invest $15 million in community initiatives. This effort will be facilitated through an agreement with Tucson Electric Power to supply renewable energy and initially use renewable energy credits, according to a press release.
The $15 million investment will begin with a $5 million scholarship fund aimed at bolstering STEM education and trade school training in Pima County. An additional $10 million will be earmarked for community projects developed in collaboration with local leaders.
