The recent announcement about operational cutbacks has raised some questions for travelers, like who they should contact about flight changes and what kind of delays they might see at the airport, if any.
The Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport was able to answer some of those questions. In a statement, the airport said it remains fully operational for both security and safety and is working hard to minimize impacts on both passenger and cargo operations.
For one passenger we talked to, Joan Hansen from Idaho, she shared that she’s concerned, considering she still has to go back home.
“It’s kind of nerve-racking when you’re traveling to worry about the availability of flights,” said Hansen.
