ROSEBURG, Ore. - Detectives from the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team (DINT) made a significant arrest Wednesday following suspected drug activity in Roseburg.

According to DINT, detectives observed possible drug activity at about 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 5 at the intersection of Northeast Casper Avenue and Northeast Odell Avenue. With assistance from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, investigators detained 38-year-old Chet Evans of Myrtle Creek. Evans was found with approximately 3.5 grams of suspected fentanyl, a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue, brass knuckles, and an expandable baton. He is currently on felony probation and has multiple felony convictions, authorities said.
