BELVIDERE, Ill. (WREX) — A local organization recently witnessed an unprecedented demand for food assistance as cars lined up along the road, filled with families in need.
B1 Pantry , located at the Belvidere First Assembly of God Church, provided crucial support to families experiencing food insecurity. The organization noted a significant increase in demand for their services, which they said was at an all-time high.
The pantry operates weekly on Thursdays, typically serving between 300 and 500 families. They offer food, diapers, and hygiene supplies to those in need.
