(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- After a week of dry, sunny weather, we've got some rain on the way, followed by a taste of winter!

Friday is still looking dry during the day and much of the evening, which means great conditions for the Charlotte FC match at 7 p.m.! But as a front approaches, we'll get a line of rain -- with a storm or two possible -- moving into the mountains late in the evening, then through the Charlotte area and Piedmont overnight.

A second, stronger front will approach on Saturday, sparking a few more spotty, hit-or-miss showers and a couple of storms. Most of these don't develop until late afternoon and evening. Sunday is looking drier for the Panthers game!
