SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Force forward Saxton Tess has three goals on the season and they all came Thursday night in a 4-1 win over Sioux City at Tyson Events Center before 3,800 fans.

Tess' hat trick made up most of a four-goal swing that the Musketeers did not counter. Tess made it 1-1 at 19 minutes, 41 seconds in the first period on assists from Cullen McCrate and Brooks Cullen.

Patrick Tolan gave Fargo a 2-1 lead at 1:18 in the second period. He was assisted by Graham Jones and Jack Torr. Tess buried two goals in the third period with one at 16:59 and an empty-netter at 19:11. Luke McNamara and Cullen McCrate had assists.

Force goaltender Ajay White stopped 17 of 18, while Sioux City's Bjorn Bronas had 24 saves. Fargo outshot the Musketeers 28-18.
