NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - All of our area will have the chance to see storms on Friday, but it's just our Mississippi counties that will be at a MARGINAL RISK (Level 1) for severe weather.

The main threats include damaging wind gusts, chance to see large hail and the possibility for a tornado cannot be ruled out.

Taking a look at FUTURECAST for a better idea as to when we'll see storms:

Heading into Friday, clouds will begin to thicken as of about 1 a.m.

First showers will fall around 5 a.m. in Terrebonne parish and parts of the I-10/I-12 corridor then scattered showers and storms throughout the area by 9 a.m.

Heavy storms in Tangipohoa parish and parts of the South Shore around lunchtime then our northern most parishes at 1:30 p.m.

Storms should be out of our area by dinnertime so there'
