BOGALUSA, La. (WGNO) — An 18-year-old in Bogalusa is accused of possessing child sexual abuse material.

According to the 22nd Judicial District Attorney's Office, an arrest warrant was executed for Austin Alexander Olmstead following an online tip to the Louisiana Attorney General's Office. DA officials said a search of his phone allegedly found around 70 images of CSAM involving children under the age of 13.

Olmstead is charged with 70 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material under the age of 13. If convicted, he faces a sentencing range of 10 to 40 years in prison per count.
