A political row over the alleged voter list discrepancies in Haryana took an unexpected turn when an international model discovered her photo circulating in India's electoral discourse.
An old photo of Brazilian influencer Larrisa, reportedly from when she was 18 or 20, appeared in visuals used by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to allege "vote chori" irregularities in voter identification cards.
Larissa expressed shock in a video clip shared online while reacting to the episode, as per News18.
"Guys, I can’t believe these people are gossiping. They’re using an old photo of mine; I was 18 or 20 in that photo. They’re portraying me as Indian to scam people. What madness! What craziness is this, what world do we live in?" Larissa said in Portuguese, as per News18.
