Garret Olson has been named the new President and CEO of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce. Olson previously served for six years as Fire Chief for the City of San Luis Obispo and co-founded a consulting business.

During the pandemic, he temporarily left consulting to serve as CEO of the SLO Food Bank. Olson will officially begin his new role in January.
