All the parts of the UK that face snow in a 192-hour blast of freezing weather have been revealed. After a mild start to November, the penultimate month of the year ahead of Christmas will see the temperatures drop to an Arctic - 6C.

WX Charts, which uses Met Desk data, has published maps for the middle to the end of the month which show a big change in the weather.

On Saturday, November 15, snowfall is set to hit Scotland, the north-west of England and the Midlands - with the temperature in the Scottish Highlands as low as -2C (28.4F).

The North West of England traditionally means Greater Manchester, Lancashire and parts of Cheshire and Staffordshire , while the Midlands
