Marin Stefanelli and Marielle Montenegro each scored a goal as top-seeded and No. 9 Shore defeated eighth-seeded Haddon Heights 2-0 in a South Jersey Group 1 quarterfinal in West Long Branch.
Emma Haynes contributed an assist as Shore improved its record to 21-1-1 and advanced to meet fourth-seeded Gloucester in Monday’s sectional semifinals.
Stefanelli, a junior, has 19 goals and 15 assists on the season.
Montenegro, a junior, has 40 goals on the season.
Shore held a 21-1 edge in penalty corners but Haddon Heights stayed in contention behind goalie Tierna McCarthy, who made 20 saves.
Haddon Heights fell to 10-9-1.
