QUINCY (WGEM) - The Hannibal Regional Hospital honors Diabetes Awareness Month by holding its second educational awareness fair.

The fair offered help with several booths offering educational resources to help support mental and physical health, such as dietary information, hygiene and even ways to prevent your prediabetes from becoming a greater issue.

Hannibal Regional offers a variety of self-management and educational training for diabetes, with several Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES). Jamie Cook, Olivia Rees and Kristy Taylor all look to help not only those with diabetes make better decisions, but help those who are not affected by the disease with preventative measures.
