HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A controlled burn is set to begin in the International Drive area starting on Monday and will cause road closures, according to Horry County government officials.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the South Carolina Forestry Commission are set to complete the burn between Monday and Friday, officials said.
A temporary closure of International Drive will take place between Highway 90 and Ocean Bay Elementary School for all traffic. Access to the Horry County Solid Waste Recycling Facility will remain open but only from Highway 90. See the map above.
