PEQUOT LAKES — The Heart of the Good Life development area in Pequot Lakes may get another tenant.

The city has a letter of intent from a prospective buyer interested in property within the HOTGL area.

The HOTGL is nearly 90 acres of city land south of the industrial park and adjacent to Highway 371 and the Paul Bunyan Trail that's available for development. An Xcel Energy facility and the city's public works building are located there, and a hotel and apartment complex are to be built there next year.

The letter of intent is confidential, and the prospective buyer's identity was withheld.

The letter identifies approximately 8 acres to be divided into four parcels for business purposes consistent with current zoning and allowable uses.
