CHARDON, Ohio (WOIO) - The Geauga Family YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, launches a smart fitness technology, EGYM, Friday.
According to the press release, EGYM combines advanced equipment with data-driven training to help members of all fitness levels achieve their goals safely and effectively.
Each machine automatically adjusts to the individual’s body measurements and strength levels, helping guide users through a customized workout that adapts as they improve, the release said.
“EGYM brings a whole new level of personalization to the fitness experience,” said Ben Altemus, executive director of the Geauga Family YMCA. “Members will be able to track progress, stay motivated and see measurable results — all while knowing each workout is designed specifically for them.”
