TWINSBURG, Ohio (WOIO) - Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. said it will permanently close its Twinsburg facility, prompting 240 employees to be laid off.
The business located at 1960 and 2020 Enterprise Parkway engineers “customized security tech with passion and precision in three segments: Digital Security, Financial Platforms and Currency Technology,” according to the G+D website.
G+D notified Twinsburg Mayor Sam Scaffide, Director of Summit County Department of Job and Family Services & State Dislocated Worker Services Terri Burns, and Executive of Summit County Ilene Shapiro, of the facility closure on Nov. 3.
