1. Weekend Winter Storm System Bringing Mixed Precipitation

A winter storm system is moving into Michigan during a transitional season when ground temperatures are still relatively warm and Great Lakes water temperatures remain in the 50s. The first of three cold fronts has moved through this morning. Two more cold fronts this weekend take the temperatures colder. Rain will develop Saturday evening and transition to snow, with the most significant snowfall expected Sunday morning affecting Kalamazoo, Lansing, Jackson, Ann Arbor, Flint, Detroit, and Port Huron areas.
