KINGSTON, N.Y. — The city has completed upgrades to the war memorial at Clifton Avenue and Highland Avenue this week, officials announced while also releasing details about the city’s Veterans’ Day ceremony.

Mayor Steve Noble’s office said work at the site included new curbing, sidewalk and porous pavers with additional “beautification” planned for spring 2026.

Officials also announced that a public Veteran’s Day ceremony will be held at the Kingston American Legion Post 150 at W. O’Reilly St. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will move inside to the Council Chambers at City Hall.
