LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Police have announced the arrest of a man who they say led officers on a chase from Clarksville, Ind., to Louisville, Ky.
Clarksville police said the incident started around 8:12 p.m. on Nov. 6. Officers responded to a call for service near a Walmart and then found the vehicle of the suspect, later identified by police as 22-year-old Shane Leffler, stopped at a red light on Veterans Parkway.
Police said officers pulled Leffler’s car over, with one police cruiser positioned in front of the vehicle. Once one of the officers exited his car, police said Leffler took off and tried to hit the officer and rammed the police cruiser.
