LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- The StormTracker 6 Weather Team has issued a Weather Aware Day for Sunday, as our first snowflakes of the season move in, likely creating minor travel impacts across the region.

Dry conditions will move into Mid-Michigan throughout the rest of our Friday, with cloud cover gradually decreasing as temperatures climb into the mid-to-upper 50s.

It will be breezy this afternoon and evening, with winds gusting between 25-30 miles per hour. Winds will begin to calm down overnight and remain calm for the start of the weekend.

Most of our Saturday will be dry across the region, with highs in the 40s. An area of low pressure moves in late Saturday evening, initially bringing the chance for rain to Mid-Michigan.
