The Toyota manufacturing facility in Blue Springs will soon open an on-site Children’s Learning Center, a first-of-its-kind facility designed to help employees balance work and family life while promoting early childhood education.

The center, developed in partnership with Bright Horizons, will operate in alignment with Toyota’s production schedules and is expected to open in early 2026. Once fully operational, it will serve up to 238 children over two shifts, providing care and learning opportunities for children ages six weeks to five years.

Bright Horizons, which operates similar centers for major employers nationwide, will manage the learning center’s programs and staffing. The organization is known for its focus on early education, family support, and workplace flexibility programs
