JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Johnstown man is facing charges after he allegedly yelled at emergency officials and assaulted one while they were at the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian
John Winkler, 47, was arrested for allegedly being a disorderly bystander while officers and fire officials were working at an active crash scene, according to a criminal complaint. On Nov. 5, officers and other emergency crews were called to Ohio Street just after 5:30 p.m. for a report of a man who had been hit and killed by a vehicle.
While conducting an investigation into the crash, members of the Johnstown Fire Department noted that Winkler became disorderly. He was allegedly yelling profanities and was asked to leave the scene multiple times by officers.
