GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —
A complaint about possible animal cruelty and dog fighting led to the arrest of a Greenville County, South Carolina, man, according to authorities.
The investigation began on Oct. 9.
Following the complaint, investigators with Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and Greenville County Animal Control conducted an investigation that led to a search warrant for a property on Artillery Court in Piedmont, where several dogs were being housed and bred.
During the search, investigators seized four American Pit Bull Terriers, two of which they say showed obvious signs of injury consistent with dog fighting.
