A Quebec police task force that targets the online sexual exploitation of children has arrested 22 men on charges of possessing, accessing and distributing child pornography, the Sûreté du Québec announced on Friday.

The multi-day operation ended Friday and involved more than 150 officers from the SQ, Montreal, Quebec City, Longueuil, Gatineau and Laval.

Police say a total of 26 warrants were executed across the province, with the alleged suspects ranging in age from 18 to 70. Computer equipment was also seized.

Twenty of the men have already appeared in court.
