UPSTATE NEWS: Wellford police cracking down on overweight trucks on city roads

CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) -- Four officers with the Horry County Police Department have resigned following an internal affairs investigation, according to Interim Horry County Public Information Director Thomas Bell. The county's Public Information Director Mikayla Moskov has also resigned.

Bell said HCPD recently conducted the internal investigation into the officers that resulted in the "discovery of violations of the code of conduct stemming from internal, personnel matters."

Four officers submitted their resignations as of Thursday, "in light of the investigation," Bell wrote in an email on Friday.
