The Loyal Edmonton Regiment will be hosting a Remembrance Day ceremony in City Hall to honour military veterans, active members and those who have lost their lives defending our country.
The event runs on November 11, with seating starting at 9:15 a.m. on a first-come first-served basis. Guests must be seated no later than 9:50 a.m.. The ceremony will also be displayed on a large screen near the Cenotaph in Sir Winston Churchill Square.
The ceremony is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., following which there will be an outdoor procession to the City Hall Cenotaph, where two minutes of silence will be observed and wreaths will be laid.
Free parking will be available at the City Hall, Stanley A. Milner Library and Canada Place Parkades.
