The Alberta RCMP made arrests on October 24th, 2025, after pursuing two suspects for a week.

On October 19th, Rocky Mountain House RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at a gas station in Caroline where one of the two suspects shot a firearm twice at an employee. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The suspects were able to flee the scene before police arrived.

Two days later on October 21, Sylvan Lake RCMP responded to a suspicious male near Eckville. Upon arrival, it was determined that the man was in possession of a stolen vehicle. Officers attempted to arrest the male, who resisted arrest, and attempt to disarm the officer and assaulted them in the process.

The officer was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
