WASHINGTON, D.C. – United and American Airlines have successfully rebooked most travelers affected by flight cuts, with many reaching their destinations within four hours of their original plans.
A United spokesperson reported that more than 80% of affected passengers have been rebooked. The airlines targeted cuts at smaller regional airports and those with multiple flights a day to minimize passenger disruption.
Delta Airlines announced it has completed necessary cuts to comply with an FAA order, preparing for operations on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
In our region, smaller airports like those in Butte, Bozeman, Helena, Kalispell, Great Falls, Spokane and the Tri-Cities appear to be operating smoothly. Most affected areas are reportedly in the South.
