MILES CITY - Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks is on the lookout for information about a mule deer buck shot with archery equipment and abandoned in Colstrip.

Game warden Tanner Mitchell said the deer was likely shot on Nov. 3 and dumped the next morning at Castle Rock Lake park property. The deer was left to waste as no attempt was made to field dress it or keep the meat.
