More than two hours of flight audio was found during an initial analysis of a cockpit voice recorder found in the wreckage of the United Parcel Service cargo plane that crashed near the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport and killed at least 13 people, a National Transportation Safety Board official said Nov. 7.
During a news conference , NTSB member Todd Inman said the recorder, one of two pieces commonly known as a "black box," contained two hours and four minutes of what the agency considers “good quality digital recorded audio.”
In its review of the audio, the agency found that the takeoff roll was “uneventful through the different speed call outs,” he said.
