SUPERIOR, Wisc. — A small business owner wanted to do something to help those in her community, and that small act has blown up into a prime example of human kindness.

On November 3rd, Mary Anderson, Owner of Eddies decided to put some food items in a tote and put them out for people struggling.

She posted on the Eddie’s Facebook page to let people know.

“I just said, if anyone needs a meal, if anyone needs anything, you can come and, you know, I’ve got some stuff out. And I was thinking, like, maybe, you know, a couple people might come and grab some things, and they were empty.” Said Mary Anderson, Owner of Eddie’s.

Over the next few days, she continued to post.

Neighbors donated to the cause, taking it from one tote to five plus a cooler.
