More than 1,200 municipal politicians and officials will convene in Calgary next week for the annual Alberta Municipalities convention and trade show.

The yearly gathering, running from Nov. 12 to 14, will attract representatives from the advocacy organization’s 264 member municipalities, who will gather for three days of talks on municipal policy issues at the Telus Convention Centre.
