LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Kentucky Derby 150 champion Mystik Dan is set to retire from racing, according to a spokesperson for Churchill Downs.
In honor of the occasion, the 4-year-old colt will make one final lap around the track Saturday afternoon.

During the race, Mystik Dan will be on showcase in the paddock, giving fans a chance to get an up close look at the Run for the Roses winner.
Churchill Downs thanked Kenny McPeek, Mystik Dan's trainer, for allowing the horse back for one final farewell.
