ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -The City of Webster Groves has partnered with Great Rivers Greenway for a project that is expected to help control flooding in a trouble area.
Deer Creek has flooded repeatedly along Marshall Road near Big Bend.
That flooding led to water rising in nearby parking lots, posing a threat to businesses.
Construction in the area for a new park to help control flooding there is now underway.
The new park will be located at Big Bend and Oxford Boulevard. And it will include a walking trail, play area and a rain garden.
