HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A government witness to a deadly gang shooting on Oahu more than 20 years ago has disappeared, and sources say foul play has not been ruled out.
Loved ones reported Jonnaven Monalim missing on Thursday after he didn’t come home Wednesday night.
Police searched the Pearl City Industrial Park on Thursday and Friday, where his phone was last traced.
The 55-year-old testified in the 2004 Pali Golf course shootout, where members of an illegal gambling operation opened fire at one another.
Anyone with information on Monalim’s whereabouts is asked to call police at (808) 529-3111.
